Incorporated in Washington State in 1987, Genelex is a privately held corporation providing comprehensive DNA testing services that enhance the health and safety of society. A pioneer in the field of human DNA testing, Genelex has been helping physicians find the right drug and dose for their pateints since 2000.

Parentage and Forensic DNA Testing. One of a handful of laboratories in the world with dual medical laboratory and paternity accreditation, Genelex provides the broadest range of identity tests available anywhere. Our work has been used to help resolve cases involving major crimes, child support and custody, immigration, and inheritance.

Pharmacogenetic Testing. Genelex has been helping physicians reduce the incidence of adverse drug reactions, a serious medical problem since 2000. Currently offered tests are of the most important of the drug processing enzymes. More than half the population have at least one defect in these systems which process one-third of the most commonly prescribed medicines.

GeneMedRx. GeneMedRx is the first software tool available to prescribers that predicts potential drug-drug and drug-gene interaction risk based on both cytochrome P450 metabolism and genetic testing. This information helps physicians gain enhanced understanding of metabolism-based adverse drug interactions and/or lack of efficacy.
