Web Seminar:
Pharmacogenetics in the Practice of Medicine

The science of pharmacogenetics is both well established and rapidly changing. That specific genes influence how individual react to medications is not in doubt. The genes have, in most cases, been identified, and variations in those genes tracked. The effect those variations have on specific medications, however, is sometimes less well established. For some drugs the effects are well documented and indicate specific changes in dosages. For others, therapeutic changes are not as well documented.

What our clients say...

"I just wanted to call and tell you that my physician switched my medications based on my test results, and I cannot describe how much better I feel. You have made a believer out of me, my family, and my physician. I hope this testing becomes routine before anyone is placed on long term medication."
