Immigration DNA Testing

Genelex has more than two decades of experience with the complexities of DNA testing for the establishment of citizenship rights. We are approved by the U.S. State Department to conduct DNA testing for immigration purposes.

Process for Immigration DNA Testing:

1. Call our DNA testing experts at 800-523-3080 to place an order or Request a Call. We will need the case numbers assigned by the embassy or Department of Homeland Security, date of birth, and contact information for all tested parties.

2. Your dedicated DNA Testing Consultant will explain the step-by-step process to complete your test, and answer any questions you may have. They will schedule an appointment for all tested individuals in the U.S. at one of our 2200 DNA Collection sites or with a mobile collector. Kits and requests for overseas collections will be sent to the appropriate Embassy or Department of Homeland Security office.

3. As soon as the samples are collected, the collector will ship them to Genelex using the prepaid return FEDEX shipping included with the kit. Please note that we have no control nor can we influence the amount of time it takes the embassy to contact or collect samples from your family members. We will, however, track the FEDEX delivery and follow up periodically.

4. Results will be sent in 5-7 business days in the format you requested (mail, email and/or fax). Copies of the chain of custody documents and results will also be sent to the appropriate government office as requested on your paperwork.
