Testing of Deceased Samples

Sometimes, obtaining standard samples such as blood or cheek swabs is not a possibility. In these instances, unusual samples, can be submitted to see if DNA can be obtained Genelex is a market leader in DNA testing and our success rate in finding DNA in unusual samples is very high.

This is the procedure for this type of test:

1) Contact a DNA Testing Consultant at 800-523-3080 to set up the testing and obtain the proper paperwork.

2) Submit the sample to find out if we can get DNA from it. This process will take approximately 3-4 weeks and costs $550.00 per sample. Bone or teeth is $800.

3) IF we can get DNA from the sample, we will then need a cheek swab sample from the person with which you are trying to match the DNA such as the sample's potential father. Matching the DNA takes approximately 5 working days and costs an additional $250.00-$795 depending on the relationship being tested.
