Draw Sites/Phlebotomists - We are always seeking to expand our worldwide network of established DNA collectors. If you have experience as a phlebotomist, paramed examiner, or DNA collector for other companies and would like to offer your services to Genelex, please review the steps below, download and fax or email in our draw site application.

Below is a brief description of how the drawsite program works. Email the application to denise@genelex.com or you may call (800) 523-3080 and ask for Denise if you have any questions.

DRAW SITE STEPS:

1) Establish the prices you want to charge. Prices in general are as $30-$40 per person for a DNA collection. Please note that Genelex does not pay for any collection fees. Our clients are instructed to pay you directly.
2) Fill out and fax/mail back the "Draw Site Application". Please fill in all areas of the application including contact information and hours of operation.
3) Once you send back the application, Genelex will review it, and upon approval Genelex will set you up in our drawsite database.
4) Download the DNA Collector Handbook We will mail you a sample "trio" collection kit.
5) Read the DNA Collector Handbook thoroughly so you will know how to collect the DNA swabs and properly fill out the "Chain of Custody" paperwork. Watch the demonstration on performing a legal collection.

6) We will call you to set up appointments as we receive clients in your area. We will then mail out a kit with prepaid return shipping for each client we send.
7) When the client arrives at your office, or when you arrive at their house (if you are a mobile collector), collect your fee directly from the client.
8) Fill out the entire "Chain of Custody", double checking that you and the clients have signed in all required places. Collect proper identification and collect DNA via the provided materials.
9) Mail back the collection kit with the filled out "Chain of Custody" form via the prepaid shipping materials Genelex has provided you.
10) Wait for our next call to set up a new appointment.

Referral Sources - Many medical and legal professionals are asked about parentage testing, and do not know where to refer their clients. Genelex will be happy to provide you or your organization with reference materials on parentage testing. Please contact Kristine Ashcraft at (800) 523-3080 X2857 or kashcraft@genelex.com to receive additional information.

Family Law and Immigration Attorneys - Many of the clients who contact us for parentage testing are also looking for a family law attorney. They call from all over the country and we want to help them find someone in their area.

Here's all you have to do to be included in the Genelex Family Law Attorney Directory or Immigration Law Directory:

1. E-mail your practice information to kashcraft@genelex.com and it will be added to our directory.

2. If your practice has a web site, provide us with a link to the DNA in Parentage testing Chapter of DNA in the Courtroom: A Trial Watcher's Guide http://www.genelex.com/paternitytesting/paternitybook4.html.

3. Review some of the other pages on our site to see if links to them would be useful to your clients. These are two that receive numerous "hits", http://www.genelex.com/paternitytesting/paternityorder.html Or http://www.genelex.com/paternitytesting/paternityfaq.html.

4. Verify your information in our Genelex Family Law Attorney Directory http://www.genelex.com/paternitytesting/paternityfamlawdir.html or http://www.genelex.com/paternitytesting/paternityimmigrationdir.html in two weeks.
