Specimen Types

• Blood: 5-10 cc whole blood lavender-top EDTA or Yellow-top ACD-A tubes
• Buccal: Genelex supplied cheek swab kits, blood is preferred as buccals have a small failure rate.
  Please call Client Services at 800-523-6487 to obtain specimen kits.
• Turnaround Time: 10-14 days, (STAT Turnaround Time: 5 days)
