Rootine Customized Vitamins

Rootine Vitamins Delivers a Customized Vitamin Regimen

How many times have you tried a vitamin or supplement that worked for everyone else, but didn’t work for you? You’re not alone.

The problem with mass market products is that they don’t work for every body. Each person has a unique chemistry. We respond to things in different ways.

Shouldn’t your vitamins and supplements – which your body is absorbing and using (hopefully) – be made specifically for your body?

That’s what Rootine aims to do. And their vitamins come in a unique form that everyone will welcome with open arms.

Rootine creates custom vitamins that are as unique as your body. Every vitamin is made-to-order, and the company uses 100% vegetarian ingredients.

Their products are backed by more than a decade of scientific and genetic research.

Rootine actually uses a unique algorithm that analyzes the genetic data of customers to determine each ingredient and dosage for each vitamin.

Instead of having to take several, big pills each day, Rootine shrinks their vitamins down to microbead size. The vitamins look more like seeds or sprinkles than supplement pills. If you struggle with taking large pills or drinking liquid vitamins, the microbead design will be a welcomed change.

Along with being easier to take, the microbead vitamins release nutrients throughout the day and mimic the intake of food. It allows for better and more natural absorption of the nutrients.

Rootine’s microbeads can be:

  • Swallowed with water
  • Mixed into your breakfast or yogurt
  • Stirred into your smoothie or shake

How are the Microbeads Made

All of Rootine’s ingredients are 100% plant-based. It starts with high-quality, raw powder. The powder is mixed with purified water and other natural ingredients before being coated with beeswax.

No artificial colors or fillers are used.

How Does Rootine Work?

Rootine Vitamins

It’s easy to get started with Rootine, and your vitamins are 100% personalized.

Here’s how the process works:

Step 1: Lifestyle Quiz

The first step is to take the lifestyle quiz, which asks about your:

  • Age
  • Diet
  • Exercise routine
  • Lifestyle choices

The quiz provides the data Rootine needs to create your nutrient baseline.

Step 2: DNA Test

Rootine uses genetic data to determine dosage and ingredients for a truly personalized approach to vitamin supplementation.  Let me rephrase that…  This company tailors your vitamins based on your DNA profile.  How cool is that?

There are two ways to upload your DNA data:

  • Use Rootine’s free at-home DNA kit, or
  • Upload your DNA data from Ancestry or 23andme

Step 3: Blood Nutrient Level Data (Optional)

The final optional step is to upload your blood nutrient level data. Rootine will use your bloodwork to guide your dosing and create your custom vitamins.

How Long Does it Take to Build Customized Vitamins?

When can you expect to receive your order of custom vitamins? The answer will depend on how you supply your DNA information.

If you take the at-home test provided by Rootine, it can take 2-6 weeks to analyze the data. Once the results are available, your vitamins are produced and shipped to your door.

If you’re uploading data from Ancestry or 23andme, you can expect to receive your vitamins 2-3 weeks after uploading.

How Does DNA Influence Your Supplement Needs?

Rootine’s use of genetic data is what sets them apart from the competition. Yes, other vitamin manufacturers create custom vitamins, but do they use genetic data? No.

Why is DNA so important?

Genes are like our blueprints. They control every single function in your body, including your metabolism and digestion. Your genes are in control of how you use and absorb the nutrients from your food.

Don’t believe me?

Here’s the science to back it up.

Genes sometimes have a mutation that affects how they work. When mutations occur, it can affect the way other vitamins and minerals are absorbed and used by the body.

Rootine can use this information to adjust your dosage or nutrient type to overcome these inefficiencies.

Rootine’s own DNA Test will analyze 52 genetic variants that have been proven to impact nutritional needs.

Let’s look at one example. According to Rootine, about 85% of people have a mutation in the gene MTHFR, which slows the conversion of folate into bioactive folate, its active form.

If the conversion is marginally slower, the issue can be corrected by simply increasing the dosage of folic acid. But if the conversion is significantly slower, the problem can be bypassed entirely by supplementing with 5-MTHF directly.

Our DNA impacts just about everything in our bodies. By using genetic information, Rootine can create a truly personalized vitamin that actually addresses your own personal needs.

Why You Need Personalized Vitamins Instead of Mass Market Products

Do you really need personalized vitamins? Yes – if you want your vitamins to be effective. Mass-market vitamins take a cookie-cutter approach to supplementation.

But every person has a unique biological makeup that influences their nutritional needs. A one-size-fits-all approach doesn’t work.

Lifestyle differences as well as nutrient blood levels and your DNA all impact the types of vitamins you need and the appropriate dosage for you.

Rootine takes all of these factors into account when creating your vitamins.

Why take a cookie-cutter approach to nutrition when you are anything but cookie-cutter? Rootine’s microbeads give you a quick, convenient and personalized way to meet your body’s nutritional needs.
